Bloom ABA ("we," "us," "our") provides one-on-one ABA therapy and learning support for neurodiverse children in Toronto and across Ontario. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have — in plain language, not legal boilerplate.
What we collect
- Contact form submissions — your name, email, phone number, and anything you tell us about your child, sent when you fill out our contact form.
- Account information — if you sign in to the family dashboard, we store your name, email, and (if you use Google sign-in) the profile information Google shares with us.
- Session and progress data — for enrolled families, session notes and goal progress are stored so you can view them in your dashboard.
- Marketplace purchases — if you buy a resource, we record the purchase and the email used for payment, so we can grant access.
- Cookies and analytics — see the "Cookies" section below. You control this through our cookie consent banner.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to enquiries, deliver therapy and educational services, manage your dashboard access, process marketplace purchases, and — only with your consent, given at the contact form — to follow up about your enquiry. We do not sell your information to third parties.
Health and therapy information
Information about your child's diagnosis, needs, or therapy progress is sensitive personal health information. We handle it in a manner consistent with Ontario's Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) — access is limited to the clinicians and staff directly involved in your child's care, and session notes are stored in access-controlled systems, not shared publicly or with other families.
Cookies
We use cookies for essential site functionality (like keeping you signed in) and, only with your consent, for analytics and marketing. You can choose which categories to allow using the cookie banner shown on your first visit, and change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's cookies for this site.
Third-party services
We use a small number of third-party services to run this site and our programs: Google (for sign-in and Google Classroom integration), PayPal (for marketplace payments), and standard web hosting and email delivery providers. Each handles data under their own privacy policies in addition to this one.
How long we keep information
We keep contact form and account information for as long as your family is engaged with our services, and session/therapy records for the period required under applicable Ontario recordkeeping requirements for clinical services. You can request deletion of your information at any time — see "Your choices" below.
Your choices
- Ask us what information we hold about you or your child
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information
- Ask us to delete your information, subject to any records we're required to retain by law
- Withdraw consent for us to contact you about non-essential updates at any time
